This notice explains how Manjimup Property Guide handles the personal information you provide when requesting a free property appraisal.

In simple terms: we use your details to respond to your request, introduce you to a licensed local real estate agent for the appraisal, and discuss the related property-marketing package. We do not sell your personal information.

Information we collect

We collect the details you enter in the appraisal form, including your name, email address, phone number, property address, suburb, postcode, property type, selling timeframe, preferred contact method and any notes you choose to provide. We may also record basic technical information needed to deliver and protect the form, such as the submission time, referral source and browser user-agent.

Why we collect it

We use this information to:

confirm and respond to your appraisal request;
arrange an introduction to a licensed local real estate agent;
help that agent understand the property and your preferred timing;
discuss photography, video and online marketing related to a possible property sale; and
operate, secure and improve the appraisal-request process.

Who receives your information

We may share the information in your appraisal request with a licensed local real estate agent who can complete the requested appraisal. We also use service providers—including website hosting, Google Sheets and email services—to receive, store and process requests. Those providers may process information in Australia or overseas under their own service and privacy terms.

Your choice

You do not have to submit the form. If you do not provide the required contact and property details, we will not be able to arrange the appraisal. Submitting a request does not oblige you to appoint an agent or purchase a marketing package.

Storage and security

Appraisal requests are kept in access-controlled systems and are available only to people who need them for the purposes described above. We take reasonable steps to protect the information and retain it only for as long as it is reasonably needed for the request, related business records and applicable legal obligations.

Access, correction or a privacy concern

You may ask to access or correct your information, withdraw from further contact, or raise a privacy concern by replying to the confirmation email sent after your appraisal request. We will review and respond to your request within a reasonable time.

Changes to this notice

We may update this notice when the appraisal or marketing process changes. The latest version and update date will appear on this page.
